Week one of Friday night lights are in the books, and it was a good one for new Flyer head coach Mike Hall.  The Flyer's made the long trip to Bloomington to take on the Bobcats for the season opener for the fist time since 2001.  You could say this used to be like a "crosstown" rivalry game. This game had some intensity and some late game drama.  It all came down to a 4th down goal line stand and the Flyers get a sack and run down the clock to win the game.  All the scoring took place in the first half.  The second half came down to defense and the Flyers locked down.   Mike Hall wins his 1st career game with St. Joseph Flyers  with a score of  20-14.  This was a great non-district win and gives them some momentum heading into their home opener next week.  The Flyers will host Kingsville St. Gertrudis at Patti Welder Stadium.  Go Big Blue!
