Mid-Coast Hurricane and Disaster Conference

The 15th annual Mid-Coast Hurricane and Disaster Conference will be held Thursday at 9am at the Victoria Community Center, 2905 E. North Street. Conference registration will open at 8 a.m. with a light continental breakfast, and lunch will be provided by Uncle Mutt's Barbecue. The focus is to provide information on hazards from both natural and man made disasters and to provide training and information for first responders, healthcare professionals, critical infrastructure representatives, public sector employees, business leaders, energy representatives and industry representatives in the case of a local disaster.

Registration for the conference is $20 and includes lunch.
