Are you looking for something fun to do? Check out all that is going on at the May Feast Shoot Out in Nordheim on May 20th through 22nd. If you are not familiar with Nordheim, Texas, it is located seven miles west of Yorktown near the Karnes county line in western DeWitt County.  It is a German community that was established in 1895 as a siding, known as Weldon Switch, on the San Antonio and Aransas Pass Railway. Gates open at 5 pm and show starts at 7 pm featuring the TTTPA Hotrod Truck and Tractor Pullers

Saturday 5/21/16:  
BBQ and Chili Cookoff  starts the morning off with Judging starting at 12:30 pm
Remote Control Tractor Pull at  10 am
TMTPA Minirod Tractor Pull from 12 pm - 4 pm
Annoucement of BBQ and Chili Cookoff winners with Benefit Auction at 4 pm
TTTPA Hotrod Truck and Tractor Pull at 6:30 pm
Dance by Neon Light Cowboys 9-1 ***FREE ADMISSION***

Sunday 5//22/16:
Pork BBQ Supper Plates $10
Free Music by Chris Rybak from 2-5 pm and
Texas Country from 5-7 pm

Cook-Off Information:

We have 5 categories:
Brisket
Pork Ribs
Chicken
Chili
Beans

The prizes for these categories will be a wooden trophy for 1st, 2nd, and
3rd and aprons for the top 5 winners for each category.    It's $20 each
or $80 to enter all 5.

Jackpot beans competition is $20 entry fee.  Winner gets 75% payback from
the pot and 25% goes to the hall.

We have a new category this year which is the dutch oven dessert category
and we are awarding 1st, 2nd and 3rd place this year.

Last but not least is a champion cooking team.  Out of the 5 categories
the team that wins the most points will win $100 in cash.
