LeAnn Rimes may be one of the most famous country singers in the world, but she insists that her life is actually pretty normal! The superstar and her actor husband, Eddie Cibrian, are about to prove it on their new reality show 'Eddie and LeAnn,' set to air on VH1 in July.

Talk of the reality series based on the couple's life has been swirling for months, and now with an official start date of July 17, fans can look forward to an exclusive sneak peek into the life of the 'Spitfire' singer and her husband. Despite a flurry of endless rumors about her marriage, her family, and even her body, Rimes says that her life with husband Eddie Cibrian is "tame and normal," adding that she's always surprised what the media comes up with to make their life sound like a soap opera.

"Apparently the other day I underwent surgery for ab implants," says the singer with a laugh. "I didn’t even know you could get ab implants. My publicist and I had to look it up to see if you can even actually do it."

Rimes says that at times all the made-up drama can get to her, but notes that most of the time, she and Cibrian are able to simply laugh at how "ludicrous" it all is.

"It’s such craziness that you have to just sit back and separate yourself from it and just laugh at it when you hear it," she says. "One minute we’re divorcing, the next minute we’re having a baby. It’s quite the roller-coaster ride. I commend these people sometimes for their imagination!"

Maybe all that crazy tabloid fodder will die down once Rimes and Cibrian put their "quiet, normal life" on display. 'Eddie and LeAnn' will begin its run on VH1 on July 17.
