Rising country star Lauren Alaina has just completed a fun new project. The 18-year-old singer, who was the runner-up on Season 10 of 'American Idol,' recently recorded two songs for the upcoming SeaWorld attraction 'Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin,' which opens May 24.

She recorded the theme song for the attraction, as well as a remix titled 'Antarctica: One World, One Family.' In the above episode of 'Behind the Freeze,' she reveals she was joined by a special guest in the studio. "It was really cool for Pete the Penguin to come in while I was singing the song," she observes with a smile. "I was just trying to envision what the ride was going to be like while the song was playing."

She adds that singing the song was not just a job, but something she was happy to do. "I'm so excited to work with SeaWorld," Alaina says. "The fact that I'm going to get to go there a lot and be a part of the actual park, it's really a blessing."

Alaina will be on hand at SeaWorld during the opening week of the new attraction to perform the theme song live. She has been working on her sophomore album, rumored for release later this year.
