The numbers for early voting in the Presidential election in Victoria County continue to grow to record-setting numbers, and today is your last chance to do so.

Voting continues at the Dr. Pattie Dodson Public Health Center at 2805 N. Navarro from 7am to 7pm through today (Friday, November 4th). There is also a temporary polling place at the Citizen's Healthplex at 9406 Zac Lentz Parkway in Victoria. In Bloomington, the fire station at 551 E. Second St. is also a temporary voting place today through today. So, how are the numbers?

According to official figures, 1,687 people voted yesterday (Thursday), bringing the total number of in person early voters so far to 17,773. The number of mail in ballots received so far is 2,606 making the grand total of early voters of 20,379.

That trend is consistent statewide, as officials say a number of Texas counties are breaking early voting records.
