Kids Fishing Tournament Saturday

The Memorial Day Kids Fishing Tournament, sponsored by Port O'Connor Chamber of Commerce, is Saturday (not Memorial Day Monday) for kids ages 3 to 12. There will be trophies and prizes awarded. There is no entry fee and bait is furnished. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the beach the morning of the tournament.

There is also a kite flying contest at 1 p.m. at King Fisher Beach. Registration for this contest begins at 12:30 p.m. All ages are welcomed, as well as all kinds of kites.
