You see that right there.  That my Texans is snow.  Not in the U.S. but in the Middle East.  I have a friend that allowed me to use this picture.  Bruce is a soldier for the Army and he sent this to Camaro5.com saying how he missed home and hot showers.

I just wanted to let everyone know that while we are being graced with nice weather, this guy as well as other soldiers are puting up with snow already.

I can't imagine what it is like over there but after seeing this picture it definitely makes you appreciate Texas weather, a warm bed, hot shower, being able to go to the gas station whenever you want for a soda or chips, spending time with your friends, and of course spending time with your family.

I know the soldiers do get a Thanksgiving meal but come on, it's not the same.  So this Thanksgiving if I were you, I would be thankful and grateful where you are, and not in another country working in the snow while bullets are flying past you.

Thank you to all the military for all of your hard work and dedication.  I know you have missed Halloween, Thanksgiving, Birthdays, your child's birth, drinking with your buddies.  Hopefully you will be home soon and be safe.  It is the season for giving and to thank your military get involved or simply make a contribution to an organization, such as the Wounded Warriors Project, USO, Operation Mend, The Fallen Heroes Fund and so many others which are available.
