The Georgia native built a very active base of support by utilizing social media, turning himself into an internet phenomenon  by posting viral covers of some country classics, and then parlaying that into even more viral exposure for his own original songs. He signed a deal with Sony Music Nashville's RCA division in January of 2016, and his debut single at country radio, "Used to Love You Sober," not only became another viral sensation online, it is also turning into a breakout hit at radio.

Brown will release a five-song EP, Chapter 1, on March 18. The singer-songwriter co-wrote four of the five tracks, and worked with top writers including Chris Young, Corey Crowder and Josh Hoge.

“I’m so excited to release Chapter 1 — my fans have been so patient and supportive as I've worked on this project!” Brown says in a press release. “From the writer’s room to the studio to playing these songs night after night on tour, it’s been an incredible experience. I’m grateful to my fans and can't wait for what’s to come in the future but right now let's start with Chapter 1!”

Brown is currently headlining a sold-out 35-date tour, and in May he will join the Cadillac Three and Cole Swindell as support acts on Florida Georgia Line's 2016 Dig Your Roots Tour, which will visit 56 markets across the United States. He was also chosen as one of ToC's Hot Artists to Watch in 2016. Chapter 1 is now available for pre-order. For more information about Kane Brown, visit his official website.
