Ronnie Milsap had a hit on his hands in 1981 with the single "(There's) No Gettin' Over Me," and the singer is putting a new spin on the classic with some help from Kacey Musgraves.

In the refreshed version of the tune, Milsap and Musgraves trade off verses and do sweet harmonizing on some slightly bitter/biting lyrics, proving that a good breakup song never grows old. Listen above.

"Singing with Kacey is so much fun. She’s a pure vocalist and knows how to lean into a melody," Milsap tells People. "Having her on this gave the song a whole new twist, which is what music is all about."

The collaboration will be featured on the 75-year-old legend's upcoming album, Ronnie Milsap: the Duets, which is set to be released in January 2019. According to People, the project will also showcase collaborations with Luke Bryan, Dolly Parton, Jason Aldean, Willie Nelson, Little Big Town and George Strait—as well as priceless contributions from the late Leon Russell and Troy Gentry of Montgomery Gentry.
