Country newcomer Kacey Musgraves is new to the entertainment scene, but with her recent ACM nominations, gold certification on her first single, and opening slot for icon Kenny Chesney, she's certainly catching the eyes of many people within the industry. In fact, the 'Merry Go 'Round' singer has gained so much momentum, she'll grace the stage at Bonnaroo, the ultimate four-day music festival.

According to Roughstock, Musgraves has just been added to the exciting Bonnaroo lineup, as she joins standouts such as Paul McCartney, the Lumineers, and Mumford & Sons. These past few months have been completely surreal for this young singer, who saw her album 'Same Trailer, Different Park' debut at No. 1 on Billboard, which is a commendable feat for a debut record of an new artist.

However, Musgraves' success isn't exactly a surprise, as her album has resonated with many fans, and her songwriting and vocal abilities shine among the sea of rising new stars. Even festival attendees who aren't fans of country music will certainly appreciate her bold and insightful lyrics, including her current single, 'Blowin' Smoke,' which she recently performed on 'Ellen.'

Bonnaroo will take place June 13-16 in Manchester, Tenn. and has a fantastic lineup with must-see acts. Country music will be represented well with Musgraves and Dwight Yoakam taking the stage at the festival.
