Jason Aldean Ranks #4 Among Music’s Top Artists in 2011

Jason Aldean closes out 2011 as one of the most successful artists across all genres. Billboard put his My Kinda Party album at #4 on their Year End Top 200 Albums chart. He’s also named by the magazine as one of the year’s Top-20 artists! Aldean told CMT Daily Roundup, “You know it kind of all started with the release of ‘Wide Open’ album and ‘She’s Country’. Everything just kind of snowballed and went right into this album, too. And with ‘Dirt Road Anthem’ and the duet with Kelly, things just kind of exploded for us over the last couple years, so it’s been fun. It’s been a fun ride.” Jason will be honored during CMT’s Artists of the Year special, airing December 13th at 9PM Eastern on CMT.
