I've heard a lot of them... good ones... bad ones... great ones... horrible ones. The National anthem is a tough song to sing. I've heard reall good singers mess it up. But Kelly Clarkson did a great job of singing it before the Super Bowl... at least Jason Aldean thinks so.

Jason Aldean didn’t miss any Super Bowl action last Sunday—including the pre-show festivities! His friend and duet partner Kelly Clarkson was on hand to celebrate the big game, and delivered a stunning rendition of the national anthem. Jason says he couldn’t be more proud of her! Speaking with CMT Daily Roundup, Aldean said, “I was blown away. You rarely ever hear anybody do it justice. I mean, everybody tries to put their spin on it, and more times than not—it doesn’t work. With me, I’ve done it a couple of times, but it’s not something, you know—I’m always scared I’m gonna mess it up. I was watching her and I thought she, I texted her right away and said ‘You just killed it! That was one of the best renditions I’ve ever heard.’” Jason and Kelly are Grammy-nominated this year for Best Country Duo/Group Performance with “Don’t You Wanna Stay.” The two will take the stage to perform the hit when the Grammys air this Sunday at 8PM Eastern on CBS.
