The University of Houston-Victoria will be open Saturday to future and prospective students who want to visit the university. The next UHV Jaguar Day will start at 10 a.m. Saturday and occur throughout the Victoria campus.

Jaguar Day allows prospective freshmen and their parents to tour the campus and meet with staff members in charge of admissions, financial aid and housing. "It's a great opportunity to see the campus and the dorms and to talk with advisers and others in a relaxed setting," Denee Thomas, senior director of enrollment management and retention told the Victoria Advocate.

Those attending should make their first stop at the UHV University Center building, 3007 N. Ben Wilson St. Prospective or admitted students unable to attend can make plans to visit during two additional Jaguar Days on March 2 and 23.
