It’s Cold and We Need Coats to ‘Wrap a Child In Warmth’
Now in its 19th year, the Wrap A Child in Warmth coat campaign once again is seeking donations of new or gently used coats for the area's needy. The collection effort is three-pronged. Spearheaded by Coldwell Banker The Ron Brown Company, the donations will be distributed through the Victoria school district's Kidz Connection. Triangle Cleaners also contributes to the effort by donating dry cleaning services for all contributed coats and jackets.
"The Wrap A Child campaign is important in our community for those children who are in need of a coat when the weather gets cold," Ashley Davenport, of Coldwell Banker The Ron Brown Company told the Victoria Advocate. "We greatly appreciate all those who have donated this year and in previous years."
A distribution will be made before Christmas break Dec. 20, but donations will be accepted through Jan. 2013. For more information, call 361-575-1446.
