Irish Choral Music Concerts in May

Victoria College

A free concert of Irish choral music will be presented by the Victoria College Choir and the Victoria Civic Chorus. The choir, under the direction of VC music professor Marylynn Fletcher, will sing Irish folk songs arranged by Alice Parker, including “The Minstrel Boy,” “I Know Where I’m Going” and “Wearin’ of the Green.”

The concert will be at 7:30 p.m., May 2 and May 3 at The Johnson Symposium Center on Victoria College’s Main Campus, 2200 E. Red River St. Admission is free, but tickets are required.
