Have You Tried The Alligator Burger?

I had a roadshow today at Drifters located at 2912 Houston Highway and I was there during the lunch buffet.  It was amazing!  The lunch buffet is Monday through Friday from 11-2.  They had a home-style type of meal including smothered hamburger steaks, grilled pork chops, chicken spaghetti, mash potatoes and gravy, mac & cheese, corn on the cob, salad, soup, fried okra, and jalapeno cheddar cornbread.  Did I just make you hungry?

They have a different meal theme everyday, Monday and Wednesday is Home-style, Tuesday is Italian, Mexican on Thursday, and seafood on Friday.  It really is amazing simply because as soon as i got the first smell of the food and glance it looked just like grandma's cooking.

The Alligator burger is something else.  How many times can you actually say you had one.   Drifters is the only place around to have that and gator bites as well.  They grind it, season it, all in house at Drifters so do yourself a favor and try one.
