Gulf Coast Wild Hog Roundup

The 'Gulf Coast Wild Hog Roundup' will share a large amount of wild hogs with the Victoria community Oct. 17-19. Registration is 5-9 p.m. on Oct. 17. Weigh in is Oct. 19 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Victoria Community Center Arena. Three divisions: dog and knife, $350, 5 man team; rifle and night vision, $200, 2 man team; and bow and arrow, $200, 2 man team. Side pots for biggest boar, biggest sow, longest tusk and largest stringer, $100 each. Contact Cody Shugart 361-649-6859 for entry forms. General admission for the weigh in is $5. There is also a photo contest, presented by XTreme Hog HUnters Magazine, $25 per entry. The winning photo will be published.
