It seems like Miranda Lambert experienced a meteoric rise to stardom and fame, but, like so many other famous folks,  there was a lot more hard times and struggles along the way than you may be aware of.

CMT Daily Roundup reports the life and career of Miranda Lambert takes center stage tonight on VH1’s Behind The Music. The brand new episode will chronicle Miranda’s red-hot career, her relationship with husband Blake Shelton and her humble beginnings in Lindale, Texas. These days, she’s known as country music’s most powerful female, but Miranda reveals a moment in her childhood where life definitely hit rock bottom.  “My parents lost everything. We had to start over. We were literally homeless, and we moved in with my uncle, and here and there, wherever we could stay. It really taught me a lot about character. That’s why I work really hard and appreciate everything I get. Because I know how fast it can leave, you know?” VH1 Behind the Music: Miranda Lambert airs tonight at 9PM Central on VH1.

In other Miranda news, Country Aircheck reports that Blake Shelton’s finalist from The Voice, Dia Frampton and Miranda may record a duet in the future. On the finale of the NBC singing competition, the pair sang Miranda’s hit song “The House That Built Me”.
