The Taste of Home Cooking School is returning to Victoria on May 8. Tickets for VIP are sold out, but there are still general admission tickets for $15. Culinary specialist Jamie Dunn returns for the fifth year to the Victoria Community Center, 2905 E. North St., to share her tips and tricks. This event is put on by the Victoria Advocate and presenting sponsor, The Cooking Depot, located in Cuero. The Victoria Advocate reports the exposition begins at 3:30 p.m., and the cooking school begins 6:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased online at TasteofVictoriaTexas.com; at the Victoria Advocate, 311 East Constitution St.; the Cooking Depot, 202 S. Attendees can win door prizes and will receive a free goody bag stuffed with special offers and items, including a complimentary digital subscription to the Taste of Home magazine.
