Garth Brooks has announced his first concert dates in the Portland, Ore. area in more than 18 years.

The country icon and his wife, Trisha Yearwood, are set to perform in Portland for a two-night stand in April as part of their ongoing massive world tour. The couple announced concerts on Sunday, April 12 and Monday, April 13 at Moda Center in a press release Wednesday (Feb. 25).

Brooks has been performing a mix of his greatest hits along with new songs from his most recent studio album, Man Against Machine, which he released in November of 2014. The album's first single was "People Loving People," and its second single, "Mom," is an emotional offering that has been lighting up social media with its powerful message. Brooks received a platinum certification for Man Against Machine in January.

Yearwood also has new music for the tour. Her most recent project, PrizeFighter: Hit After Hit, consists partly of her greatest hits and partly of new studio tracks. The first single and title song, "PrizeFighter," was a duet with Kelly Clarkson. Yearwood's current single, "I Remember You," is a powerful ballad in memory of her late mother, featuring her sister, Beth, on harmony vocals.
