The Boys and Girls Club of Victoria is gearing up for its biggest fundraiser of the year to benefit its afterschool programs. A few tickets are left for the Draw Down! on Friday at The Club Westerner, 1005 W. Constitution St. Each $100 ticket admits two people and includes food, drinks and a chance to win $10,000 in a reverse raffle. "It's a real fun and high-energy night," executive director Marc Hinojosa told the Victoria Advocate. "Everyone has a great time." Hinojosa said the fifth annual event was moved to a larger venue this year because it had grown in popularity. He said this is partly because of its featured drink, Frankaritas, which is a frozen margarita named for and made by a longtime volunteer and supporter Frank Martinez.

A silent auction will also be held with proceeds to benefit afterschool programs at the nonprofit for the remainder of the school year.
