The Nave Museum (306 W. Commercial in Victoria) presents: Framing Main: Crossroads of History; a photographic journey portraying Joanne Ross’s search for traces of her father and his South Texas family.  Framing Main includes varied media and aspects, including photography, written narrative and documentary artifacts that follow her search for information about her ancestry and heritage, as well as the source of nearly forgotten, sometimes re-imagined memories.  The body of work uses Main Street in Cuero, Texas as a contextual frame through which memories are recovered while future memories are launched. This exhibit will close after Sunday, August 25, 2013, so don't miss your chance to see local history through the lens of Joanne Ross.

There will be a special reception tonight (Aug. 22) from 7:00 to 9:00pm at the Nave Museum, and the public is invited. For more information, call (361) 575-8227.
