Texas music lovers won’t want to miss the debut of the Rockport Music Festival, rich in heritage and tradition in the performers alone - a stellar lineup of Texas musicians. With coastal views, sea breezes, delicious seafood and the charm that only the Rockport-Fulton area can offer, the first-ever Rockport Music Festival is a member-based event designed to bring top acts to South Texas and will take place June 9 through 11, 2011 on the banks of Fulton Harbor in Rockport-Fulton. Tickets and memberships are available now!

2011 Rockport Music Festival features Texas legends Jerry Jeff Walker, Guy Clark, Gary P. Nunn, Ray Wylie Hubbard and Willis Alan Ramsey on Saturday. Friday night showcases the Casey Donahew and Cory Morrow Band. Thursday’s “members only” party will be rocked by Delbert McClinton, a Ft. Worth native, and Malford Milligan, who will deliver his special brand of blues/rock.

The Rockport Music Festival is going to showcase the best in Texas music in this beautiful new outdoor venue right along the water. It’s the perfect combination,” says organizer Tommy Moore.

Each year, Rockport Music Festival’s musical genres will vary year to year - even day to day - during festival week. In future years, festival-goers can look forward to a mix of Texas, blues, rock, jazz, and singer/songwriter music for the discriminating music lover.

General admission tickets (pre-sold) are $40 for two days and $25 for one. Lifetime VIP memberships range from $300 to $1,000 with many special benefits making the festival more comfortable and enjoyable including three days of music, up-front VIP seating, beverage and restroom facilities, and an air-conditioned hospitality area. In addition, Gold VIP members will have reserved table seating, preferred parking, and the opportunity to purchase three member guest passes. Silver VIP members will also have the opportunity to purchase one member guest pass.

Moore adds, “These membership packages are a great way to create a community with the audience - a community of Texas music fans!”
