The First Pentecostal Church of Edna will host its 18th annual Family Fun Day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 20. Proceeds will benefit the Edna Christian Academy building project.

This year’s activities will include games, concessions, horse rides, a petting zoo, an old-fashioned hay ride, and hourly cakewalks. Children and the young-at-heart will be able to enjoy the Military Rush Obstacle Course, an inflatable castle bounce house, and human sphere races. A helicopter will fly over the event and shower children with “candy from heaven.”

Guests can visit Nona’s Country Store, where church members will sell a variety of homemade baked and canned goods and crafts. The Fun Day auction will begin at 11 a.m.

Admission to the Fun Day is free, and visitors can purchase tickets for the day’s activities. A $20 wristband will be sold for unlimited access to all activities and inflatables, along with 15 free tickets that can be used on any games. A discount will be offered to families with several children.
