Family Fishing Day on Saturday

For fun with the entire family, don't miss  Family Fishing Day presented by the Victoria Boulevard Lion's Club. The Family Fishing Day is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Ethel Lee Tracy Park, 701 E. Larkspur St. The event is free for the entire family.

Loaner rods and reels will be available and free bait while supplies last. According to the Victoria Advocate no fishing license is required for this day only. The day also includes angler education, games for kids, boater safety tips provided by the U.S. Coast Guard, free fish cleaning and fishing tips provided by the Texas Parks and Wildlife game wardens, a live animal exhibit with Ranger Cindy, concessions, prizes and awards.
