Here comes more Dustin Lynch! The 'newcomer' has announced his upcoming album, 'Where It's At,' set for release on Sept. 9. He says the title was fitting since it portrays where he is right now.

The singer's sophomore album will be released on Broken Bow Records and will include 15 songs, five of which Lynch co-wrote. He's got big shoes to fill -- his own -- since he was the only new male country artist to land a No. 1 debut album in 2012.

"It's where I am, as a person and an artist," Lynch tells Rolling Stone Country"All the songs on the record are moments I've captured and put down. They were inspired by my excitement for life. So [the album title] 'Where It's At' sounds pretty perfect."

Lynch worked with a series of talented producers for the personal record, and the sounds will vary from country to Motown influences. He says the album has also got a really energetic feel -- something he learned from a fellow country artist.

"There are a lot of moments where we really go for it energy-wise, with the live show in mind,” Lynch explains. "I learned that from watching Keith Urban [while on tour with him] every night."

One of the songs Lynch co-wrote for the record is a song titled 'Middle of Nowhere,' which is his story of being put in the "friend zone" by a woman. Lynch joined Tim Nichols and Josh Leo for 'Your Daddy's Boots,' which is an emotional ballad. That same trio also wrote 'Cowboys and Angels.' Rhett Akins also penned a song for the album with Ben Hayslip and Ashley Gorley. 'What You Wanna Hear' is one Lynch really relates to.

“I’m definitely a down home guy,” the singer says. "If I have a day off, I’m driving the country roads just chillin’ out or going home to turkey hunt and going fishing on the river. Lyrically I relate to that song because it’s what I do and musically it’s so catchy.”
