News Release- Every day, the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center visits communities like yours throughout South Texas in an effort to collect lifesaving blood donations. Donations can help treat a variety of life-threatening illnesses and traumas, and help save lives every day in your area.

Patients suffering from leukemia, lymphoma, sickle cell, car accidents and surgeries can all require blood transfusions. Because there is no substitute for human blood, STBTC will be visiting 45 South Texas communities in February to collect these precious donations. Donating blood takes little time and can save up to three lives.

Present to donate at a blood drive in your area this month and receive a T-shirt and mini physical.
