If you're like me, your pets--especially dogs--become like members of your family. Those of us who have dogs--and want them to be in the best health possible--have the usual pet-related health issues we worry about: flea/tick infestations, rabies, distemper, even heart disease. A diagnosis of cancer in one of our furry family members is just as terrifying as it would if it was one of us getting that news. Could your breed of dog be more susceptible to cancer than other breeds?

The website known as theilovedogssite.com has compiled a list of the 10 breeds of dogs found to be most likely to develop the disease. I was relieved to see that pugs and Boston terriers (the breeds we have at my house) were not on the list!
