Dierks Bentley is no one-trick pony. At the 11th annual Kevin Carter Waiting for Wishes dinner on May 8, it’s rumored that Bentley will put away his guitar and show off his waiting skills as he serves attendees. At $500 per ticket — and thanks to the generous time donations from celebrities like Bentley — this event is sure to raise a pretty penny for charity.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. The organization grants the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Proceeds will also benefit the Kevin Carter Foundation, which focuses on youth character development and enriching the lives of others.

The ’5-1-5-0′ singer isn’t the only celebrity talent donating waitstaff skills to the event. Other country music waiters include Lee Ann Womack and Sheryl Crow, as well as NFL players and veterans, like Jerome Bettis, Keith Bulluck, Tony Gonzales, Priest Holmes, Derrick Mason and Will Witherspoon. The dinner also includes a live auction and a silent auction with fabulous trips and autographed celebrity memorabilia.

This latest charitable donation continues to prove that Bentley has a big heart. In February, the country celeb appeared on the daytime show ‘Ellen’ to present a $50,000 check to help military families. He also contributed a song to the Bob Dylan tribute album, ‘Chimes of Freedom: The Songs of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International.’
