Dierks Bentley will head south come spring. Bentley is all set to headline a big Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans in 2015. Perhaps he'll be gettin' drunk on a plane float?

The 'Drunk on a Plane' singer is booked for the 2015 Orpheuscapade Parade on Feb. 16. The parade is a part of the annual Lundi Gras Celebration in NOLA, and it's already a truly unique experience, but this time, it's going hi-tech and interactive.

“We are very excited to not only bring another first to Mardi Gras but to do it in the theatrical fashion for which the Krewe of Orpheus is known,” Sonny Borey, the Krewe's captain, explains (quote via NOLA.com).

Bentley will be backed by an 11-piece show band, No Limits, as well as Wes Raymond and the Soul Factory. However, he won't be the only country singer spending Mardi Gras in NOLA!

Two days prior to Bentley's performance, on Valentine's Day, Luke Bryan will headline the 2015 Endymion Extravaganza in the same city. WDSU reports that the 'Roller Coaster' singer will headline the concert part of the celebration, which takes place at the Carnival Ball at the Superdome, home to the New Orleans Saints.

The Endymion's Super Krewe will be using the "Fantastic Voyages" theme, and they'll tie the event in with the romantic holiday. The Endymion mascot will be dressed as Cupid, and they'll be throwing out Valentine-related items. More information on Bryan's headlining event is here.
