Crossroads Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold a Mid-Coast Hurricane Conference today at the Victoria Community Center.  This conference serves to educate and prepare our community for disasters related to hurricanes and other hazards.  The conference originally began as training and networking opportunity for first responders and industry representatives prior to hurricane season.

The conference has been well attended over the years attracting over 300 attendees from 16 area counties.  This year the conference planning committee has decided to make some changes to this annual conference and include topics on all hazards/disasters and provide training that would be of interest to small businesses and home owners.
