Craig Wayne Boyd Becomes a First-Time Father

Big Ride Records artist Craig Wayne Boyd became a first-time father over the weekend. The Texas-born singer announced the birth of Jaxon Wayne Boyd on Twitter on Saturday, June 30. The mother is Boyd’s girlfriend, Natalie Hoover.

According to Boyd’s message, little Jaxon weighed 7-pounds and measured 19 inches at birth. All Access reports that mother and baby are doing fine. The singer has tweeted about his new son multiple times since Saturday, even sharing a picture of him with a Dallas Cowboys pacifier. “Starting Jax on the right football team…” he wrote with the picture.

Craig Wayne Boyd’s newest single is called ‘I Ain’t No Quitter,’ and it can be heard via the music video at his official website. According to his online tour schedule, he’s currently taking some time off to be with his growing family.
