‘Cowboy Camp’ in Cuero
The annual 'Cowboy Camp' at the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum, 302 N Esplanade in Cuero, is 9am until noon starting Monday, August 3rd. The annual five-day camp is funded by educational grants and community partnerships and provided at no cost to students. Curriculum features age-appropriate demonstrations and activities designed to immerse students in the customs and traditions of the 19th-century, post-Civil War and cattle-drive era through observation, discussion and participation.
