Contestant on ‘The Voice’ To Tour With Blake Shelton

You just never know where that break is going to come from. I’m sure “The Voice’ contestant, Gwen Sebastian, figured it was all over for her when she was eliminated from the show last Monday. Guess again. It appears that big things are just beginning for Gwen.
Blake Shelton has offered an opening spot on his Well Lit & Amplified Tour to his former teammate on NBC’s The Voice. Gwen Sebastian, who was eliminated during battle rounds on Monday night’s (3/19) show will open on six concert dates for Blake. As reported by CMT Daily Roundup, Blake offers up some advice for new artists such as Gwen… “Have fun and try to win them over, ya know. Those are the scariest and the most memorable times of what they’ll do I think are these first couple of years.” Blake is really taking the new country singer under his wing, as Gwen will also perform with him on the upcoming ACM Awards. Blake will co-host the 2012 ACM Awards alongside Reba McEntire on April 1st at 8PM Eastern on CBS.
