Join DeTar Healthy Women as they celebrate 5 years of the Healthy Woman program on Thursday, September 12th. Elizabeth Smart will present her story of how she overcame adversity after being held captive for nine months.  Elizabeth was abducted from her bedroom in Utah in June 2002. She was 14 at the time. She was found a live nine months later 18 miles from her home. The event will be held at the Victoria Community Center. The evening begins with a Women’s Health Fair and Expo from 4:30-6pm, dinner will be at 6:30pm with Elizabeth speaking right after dinner. Presale tickets are $30 each and reserved tables of 8 for $250.00.
