We've discussed this before. There are WAY too many awards shows for my liking. It seems as if EVERYBODY gets an award of some sort. I'm not saying they aren't talented... I'm not saying they don't deserve it... for the most part. I'm saying it dilutes the meaning of an award when everybody gets one. That being said, congratulations to ALL of the winners of the latest in a long line of awards, the CMT Teddy Awards.

Lauren Alaina spent her Valentine’s Day by hosting CMT’s first annual Teddy Awards, which were fan-voted videos in romantically inspired categories. Miranda Lambert walked away with the award for Best Breakup Song  for “Kerosene,” which suits her well since she prefers singing a fiery anthem rather than a sweet love song. In an interview with CMT Daily Roundup, Miranda said, “I’m not a love song person. I always have one or two but you know because I am in love and I have been in love whether you know, whether my heart is broken at the time or not, um, I lean more towards the sad song and the cheating song and the revenge songs.”  Other big winners at the Teddy Awards: Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts and Luke Bryan.
