You may have seen me post blogs here mentioning that I am a licensed Amateur Radio Operator (call sign: N5ASH). For the last couple of years, I have put my professional broadcast radio skills to use serving the Amateur Radio community as an occasional volunteer anchor for the weekly Amateur Radio Newsline report.

For more than 30 years, Amateur Radio Newsline has brought the news and latest happenings in the world of ham radio to listeners around the world over various repeaters, stations, and the Internet.

Another great resource for ham radio enthusiasts (and those interested in joining the hobby) is the weekly netcast, Ham Nation, on Leo LaPorte's TWIT.tv website. I recently put together a video showing how I go about producing an anchor audio track for Newsline, and submitted it for showing on Ham Nation. It was included in the Nov. 7, 2013 netcast, and I thought I'd share it here with our KIXS listeners. Check out the video here, and let me know what you think with a comment.
