This morning the KIXS crew was on another roadshow for the official grand opening of the Victoria Livestock Show.  Of course "Mr. Victoria" aka Gary Moses was in the house making his presence felt.  All of the sales girls were at the KIXS table giving all kinds of free stuff away...

Victoria and the crossroads area the carnival opens TONIGHT!  Check out the midway over at the Community Center fair grounds.  Open early on weekends, the carnival is the first sign the the Livestock show is in town.  So head on out to get your favorite fair food and bring back some childhood memories with the lights and sounds that the carnival brings...

Scott Taylor in the KIXS studio promoting his new CD, "Beautiful Sin."  Scott also has two upcoming performances in Victoria, starting this Saturday night at Historic Schroeder Hall.  Next week he will be live at the Beer Garden at the Victoria Livestock show Thursday, February 26th...

Taking over the mic this morning was Nathan as JP in the Mornings first co-host.  Shiner born and raised, he grew up on country classics.  In fact his first concert was Dwight Yoakum, he has also seen his favorite George Strait in concert at a young age...

The KIXS prize patrol and JP were on the streets again delivering a beautiful flower arrangement from our friends over at Sunshine Florist.  This week winner is Heather Carr, who apparently likes to just go to California whenever she feels like it :)...

This morning the crew from Moody Gardens was in the studio talking about some new attractions just in time for Spring Break 2015!  MG is located around three hours away from Victoria, but a great mini-vacation destination in Galveston Texas...

Earlier today, I delivered flowers to the Exterran office.  Among the delivery of beautiful flowers, a friendly banter ensued.  Before long the girls in the office were searching their desk for ketchup packets,  comparing the different places and getting really excited about it...
