BBB Warns: Don’t Be Fooled by Fuel Additives Promising Big Gas Savings

With gas prices above $3.00 per gallon, summer travel can come with a hefty price tag. When gas prices climb, products that claim to improve fuel efficiency might be appealing. But it's a smart idea to be skeptical of any gas-saving claims for automotive devices or oil and gas additives.

Your Pre-Flight Safety Instructions Were Never This…(ahem)…Exciting

I've flown on Southwest Airlines several times over the years; in fact, just last month to visit friends in Arkansas. Sometimes, the flight crew will have a little "fun" with the otherwise usually boring safety announcements at the beginning of the flight. However, in this video, Air New Zealand puts a whole new twist on the normally mundane task of informing passengers of the safety features and requirements...with a little help from some Sports Illustrated swimsuit models.

Man Trapped Overnight at Vegas Airport Shoots Hilarious Music Video

This is fast becoming the hottest viral video on the web, and it's one of the best. Here's the story behind Richard Dunn's hilarious self-shot, self-edited video made to the tune of "All By Myself," by Celine Dion.

Caught overnight at Las Vegas' McCarran Airport with practically no one else around, Richard Dunn could have found many ways to pass the time until his flight in the morning. Instead, he put his trusty iPhone to work and made this hilariously cheesy music video for Celine Dion's 1996 cover of "All By Myself."

Suspicious Email? Gee…Let Me Think About This

So, I'm checking one of my email accounts, and I see one with the subject line: "From Colonel Nick Logan."

"Hmm...," I think to myself. "I don't know anybody named 'Colonel Nick Logan.' I have a brother who retired from the California Army National Guard years ago as a Colonel, but that's not his name. I know a few people named 'Nick,' but none of them are in the military, to my knowledge. And I don't believe I know anybody whose last name is 'Logan.' Ahh...a mystery!" Now, it took much longer to write that than it did to think it, but I digress. So, my curiosity piqued (and my Crap Detector a-tinglin'), I opened the email on my iPhone ('cause it's harder to hack into those than a computer; even I know that). And here, just as it was in my email inbox, is what the mysterious missive said:

I love lists that writers come up with about Texas. Having lived here for just shy of two years myself, I always find them educational and, often, amusing. Texas has its own pace, its own attitude, and--according to this list--its own vocabulary when it comes to the 25 words mentioned.

Winnebago Goes Retro With New RV’s

My wife and I have often talked about how nice it would be to have an RV of some sort. I kind of like the idea of a travel trailer, as that would allow us to "un-hitch" the pickup truck to drive to somewhere other than where we park the trailer to "camp out." But then, sometimes, I think it would be nice to have a big ol' motorhome! Now, one of the most famous manufacturers of motorhomes has taken a page from their past, and put it into a brand-new, modern model...but from the exterior, it's hard to tell it's not one from 30 years ago!
