This morning the Bloomington Bobcats were loud and proud as we continue support school spirit here at KIXS 108! From left to right we have Rebekah, Shawntelle, Clara, Dulce, and DeMarcus.  This was a fun bunch of kids as they pumped up their Bobcats fans for the big Homecoming game Friday at 730 versus Pettus at Bobcat Stadium...

Joining me in the studio this morning from Calhoun High was Gabby(in the middle) and Megan.  Gabby is a co-captain of the cheerleaders and Megan is also part of the cheer squad!  This morning was tons of fun for all three of us.  They even did a couple of cheers on air and really showed that Sandcrab spirit...

Not every student dreads the first day of school. Sure, there are books, tests and homework on the horizon, but for some there's also a whole new world of discovery.

This coming week on the morning show, we will start showing some school spirit.  We invited four area schools having homecoming this week, three have confirmed!  So catch your school loud and proud this week!  On Wednesday it's the Calhoun Sandcrabs, Thursday it's the Bloomington Bobcats, and Friday it's the Cuero Gobblers...

If you haven't heard or don't know me I am a huge High School Football fan!  So this year on my show I will invite area schools on air to show school spirit and try to bring spirit  back to the student body.  It is safe to say school spirit is nowhere near where it used to be...

Friday Night Lights are finally here, well Thursday night lights for The East Titans.  They will open their season on the road tonight in San Antonio as they face San Antonio Kennedy for the second consecutive year.  Kickoff is at 7 tonight...

The first day of school is always filled with anxiety. That's something this boy couldn't hide.

It is that time of year again HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL, and the season starts next week. Two of the three high schools open their season at home with the exception for East, they open Thursday night at San Antonio Kennedy.  The West Warriors will host San Antonio Southwest next Friday night at Memorial Stadium...
