The highly venomous cobra, which made headlines after she escaped from her holding cage in the Bronx Zoo last Friday, was captured Thursday morning in a dark corner of the Reptile House, according to Bronx Zoo officials.

If your anything like me I love watching youtube just to see other people failing at whatever they are doing, and it just so happened that somebody caught it on camera.  I wish I had a camera for all those times I ever did something really stupid and resulted in an injury or just really hurt for quite a while

Barack Obama Won’t Throw Out First Pitch at Washington Nationals Opener [VIDEOS]

Last year, Barack Obama threw out the first pitch at the Washington Nationals home opener, continuing a tradition of Presidents throwing out first pitches that stretches back to William Howard Taft in 1910.

This year, however, Obama is taking a pass on getting the season started with a ceremonial first pitch. Instead, recently unemployed talk show host Larry King will do the honor  before the Nationals’ Thursday-afternoon match-up with the Atlanta Braves.

Some of President Obama’s critics have suggested he doesn’t want to take to the mound because his past attempts at first pitches have been, well, not good.

Inmates’ Coloring Books Painted With Drugs [VIDEO]

Three inmates at the Cape May County Correctional Center in New Jersey wanted their drugs so badly, they used a children's coloring book to sneak them into their prison cells. We hate to give criminals so much credit, but the whole process was undeniably ingenious.

With the help of two civilians, the inmates painted numerous coloring books with what looked to be water color, but was actually a liquid version of a drug called Suboxone. They would have gotten away with it, but in February officers at the correction center were tipped off and began testing the books for drug substances.

Man Moves Into Mall of America in Attempt to Lose Weight [VIDEO]

Sometimes the best way to commit to a workout regiment is to tell a bunch of people about it, and then let the fear of being labeled the-guy-who-talks-a-big-game-about-getting-in-shape-but-never-follows-through take over.

That's what St. Paul, Minnesota resident Scott Jorgenson is doing, times a few thousand.

Super Glue Inventor Harry Wesley Coover Jr. Dead at 94

Super Glue inventor Harry Wesley Coover Jr. died Saturday night of congestive heart failure at his home in Kingsport, TN, the NY Times is reporting. He was 94.

Though he held over 460 patents in his career, Coover was best known for his revolutionary invention, which he created accidentally while testing compounds at Eastman Codak's Tennessee laboratory in 1951. Seven years after the accident, during which Coover ruined a $3,000 machine, the first version of Super Glue (called Eastman 910) was made available.

City Tries To Ban Sale of Girl Scouts Cookies From Front Lawn

Instead of canvassing the neighborhood, Abigail and Caitlin Mills of Hazelwood, MO, have for the last six years conducted their annual sale of Girl Scouts cookies from their parents’ front yard.

The duo ran into a snag this year, however, when a neighbor complained to the local authorities about the commotion caused by this Thin Mint commerce.

Citing this complaint and a code against selling products from the home, the city of Hazelwood demanded the girls take down their stand.

Bomb Sits in Detroit Federal Office for Weeks Unchecked

In late February, a security guard at a U.S. federal office building in Detroit, MI, found a suspicious package. He brought the package into the building, placed it in the lost and found and went on his merry way.

The package sat until March 18, when someone at the office decided to X-ray it to see what was inside. The contents? A bomb that had been there all along, according to ABC News.
