The Victoria County Veterans Council will present its Memorial Day program at 11 a.m. Monday at the gazebo at DeLeon Plaza.

The City of Victoria has announced the following closings/hours for city services: All non-emergency city offices will close Monday, May 26th, for the Memorial Day holiday. Normal hours will resume Tuesday, May 27th.

Victoria's 'Cinco de Mayo' Celebration will be in Deleon Plaza, Downtown Victoria saturday starting at noon. This event will be a celebration of music and family-oriented traditions, featuring food, crafts, children’s fun area and entertainers from the Gulf Coast of Texas. Proceeds from the event will finance college scholarships for our youth, the future of Victoria.

Goliad Main Street Program is hosting its 18th annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday on the Goliad County Courthouse lawn.

The Victoria College Spring Carnival and Easter Egg Hunt will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in the VC Quad area. The Easter Egg Hunt, which is free and open to the public, begins at 5:45 p.m. with separate sections for younger and older children.
