I've told you before... Victoria is just full of pleasant surprises! One of the coolest is The Crossroads Community Band. Where else do student and adult musicians get together to practice and perform the music that was (and still is) a large part of their lives? This opportunity to perform music together is a great outlet for musical talent from all around the crossroads area.

Two Step Dance Hall & Lounge announced today the first slate of bands that will perform at the new entertainment venue. I love this time of year. There is literally more to do than you can make time for. What a great problem to have. I do suggest, however, you take time to enjoy beautiful downtown Victoria this Thursday evening during 'Downtown Rhythms'.

I remember when I first moved to this part of the country, one of the first places I went was to the 'Fiddlers' Frolics' at the K.C. Hall in Halletsville. What I remember most is the great music, delicious food, and friendly people. If you want to have a great time with your entire family, I highly recommend this weekend of fun.
