Amateur radio enthusiasts from all over Texas (and beyond) will gather this weekend in Austin for the 30th annual Austin Summerfest at the Crowne Plaza. Amateur (aka "ham") radio is both a hobby and a service. Ham operators enjoy contacting other hams across town or on the other side of the globe, using everything from vintage radio equipment to the latest digital modes of communication!

This woman obviously doesn't get it.  She says smaller tires make you go faster (because they turn faster), heavier trucks make you go slower, there is a speed difference between manual and auto transmission, cops keep their tires full so you can't go faster than them on your flat tires, and to be in really good shape expect 7 minutes to take you a mile...
