This morning I had Joel Nava join me on air.  He will be the first act to take the Coors Light Main Stage on Friday night at Bootfest!  He takes the stage around 6:15!  He is no stranger to being on stage.  He really busted out on the scene in the early 90s, his first album boasted airplay on nation-wide country radio...

Last week, The West Warriors won bragging rights for the rest of the year by defeating the East Titans and the STJ Flyers opened district with a huge win on the road in Corpus.  District play continues for all Victoria Teams.  CC Miller comes to Memorial Stadium to take on the East Titans, Victoria West travels to Calallen and the Flyers host Austin Regents at Patti Welder...

Co-host Wednesday continued this morning with Anna Salas joining me on the show.  Anna is a 1994 graduate of St. Joseph and has been a part of that school since then.  She is director of the St. Joseph Starlighters, and also is director of the Texas Stars dance team  and owns Victoria All Stars Dance Academy...

This Saturday it's the West Warriors Open, supporting the Victoria West High School Baseball program.  The shotgun starts at 12:30.  This tournament is open to all friends of Victoria West baseball.  There is even a hole in one contest that could be worth up to $15,000...

Continuing our spirit series this morning, with the Louse Hornets!  First ones in the studio with their cheerleader outfits and mascots in the building.  The undefeated Hornets will play Tidehaven on Friday night for their homecoming game...

This morning my co-host was Joel, he is the guy that knows everything about Bootfest!  He comes to us from the big city of Moulton Texas, home of the Katz and Kittens!  Taking over the mic was no problem for this guy.  He is an Oakland Raiders fan by heart and a Cowboys fan via the family...

Tonight it's dinner and a movie in beautiful downtown Victoria.  Dinner will be served at 530 at Huvar's featuring Huvar's Brick-oven, delicious.  This is followed by the screening of "American Sniper" at 7 at the Leo J Welder Center.  American Sniper is about the most lethal sniper in US History...
