This week is a big week for district play in High School Football.  Two local High Schools are celebrating Homecoming this week.  The West Warriors host Tuloso-Midway tonight at Memorial Stadium and the STJ Flyers host San Antonio Cornerstone at Patti Welder Stadium...

Thursday morning the West Warriors joined me in the studio, showcasing their school sprit!  Girls from the cheer squad, dance team, and savage squad came to show their school spirit.  We had Carrah, Kelsey, Maxine, Faith, Breanna, and Allison come on a and talk about their Homecoming traditions...

The second  baseball season starts tonight in Kansas City, as the Houston Astros exceed all expectations and make it to the post season.  This is a very special group of young baseball players putting Houston baseball back on the map.  They defeated the New York Yankees in a one game wild card playoff game, in Yankee stadium...

This past weekend at Bootfest, we enjoyed the best in Texas Country and Tejano music.  On Saturday night, taking the Coors Light Main Stage was Jaime Y Los Chamacos.  Lead singer and accordionist Jaime DeAnda is the reason I took and interest in tejano music and playing the accordion...

A shout out to the East Titans, showcasing their school spirit this past Friday morning.  In the studio, we had Kora,Kennedy,Sierra,Trey,Chance,Laurynn, and Jalyn!  Of course shared a couple of cheers on air and did a great job.  The football players ensured victory, and you know what they delivered in a BIG way defeating Corpus Christi Miller 73-14...

Week 6 of Friday Night Lights in the books, only one Victoria school emerged victorious.  The East Titans easily handle  CC Miller 73-14.  The STJ Flyers lose in district to Austin Regents 13-34  and the West Warriors drop one to Callalen 24-41...
