The Country Music Association just announced a few additions to the lineup for the 2012 CMA Music Festival. The most recently added talents slated to take the big stage at the Tennessee Titans’ LP Field include Blake Shelton, Scotty McCreery, Dierks Bentley, Alan Jackson and Brantley Gilbert. This year’s biggest night in country music will be taking over Nashville from June 7 through June 10.
Seven of country music’s hottest acts will perform at the 47th annual Academy of Country Music Awards on April 1 in Las Vegas. In addition to Miranda Lambert and Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney and Toby Keith will take the stage.

She is a beautiful, talented lady that doesn't take any crap off of anyone. Now, get ready for the understatement of the month, if not the year. Miranda was not happy with how thw 'Grammy' people handled Chris Brown. I wasn't either. Good for you, Miranda!
The Grammy red carpet was aflutter with stars of all kinds on Sunday night, but none so cute perhaps as 8-year-old Sophia Grace Brownlee and her 5-year-old sidekick Rosie, who were covering the red carpet for ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show.’ The girls, who were discovered via YouTube, have been seen on past episodes of ‘Ellen’ rapping, meeting Nicki Minaj and even serving as Ellen’s correspondents at the American Music Awards.

We've discussed this before. There are WAY too many awards shows for my liking. It seems as if EVERYBODY gets an award of some sort. I'm not saying they aren't talented... I'm not saying they don't deserve it... for the most part. I'm saying it dilutes the meaning of an award when everybody gets one. That being said, congratulations to ALL of the winners of the latest in a long line of awards, the CMT Teddy Awards.
