CASA Training Starts August 4th In Victoria

If you are interested in volunteering to help abused and neglected children in and around the Victoria area, CASA  is offering training sessions.

Training sessions for Golden Crescent Court Appointed Special Advocates volunteers will be in Victoria on Aug. 4 and Aug. 11 at a location to be announced. Training sessions are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

CASA volunteers are appointed by the court to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children and assist in placing them in permanent homes. Established in 1995, Golden Crescent CASA serves children in in Calhoun, DeWitt, Goliad, Gonzales, Jackson, Lavaca, Refugio and Victoria counties.
