Candle Lighting Ceremony at UHV

The University of Houston-Victoria  is helping raise awareness about domestic violence through a candle lighting ceremony to be held at the UHV University Center Building – Multipurpose Room, 3007 North Ben Wilson Street in Victoria  . The ceremony begins at 7pm this evening. During the ceremony, participants will light candles and share stores about combating domestic violence. Victoria Mayor Paul Polasek will kick off the event by reading a proclamation for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
